Production Cut Tiles & Shapes
CR Tech can cut tiles or any shape from roll goods. We can also cut down larger tile into smaller sizes and dimensions. Unlike waterjet which is a very slow and labor-intensive process with lots of handling, our system is production ready. We have three specialized machines featuring one with a duel gantry so we can produce production volume floor tiles with a self-advancing belt driven process. Maybe your customer wants a color that is only available in roll goods and not tile. Maybe the lead time for tiles is too long but you have roll goods in stock. In either case, CR tech can precisely convert any material on a roll to the desired finish size.
Cut Floor Tiles Down to Size
Whatever your volume, shape or size, CR Tech can cost effectively convert your roll good material with high speed and accuracy to give you seam free options for the look, feel and color you need. CR Tech routinely cuts larger size tiles down to smaller size tiles and shapes for unlimited options for installation. Sometimes customers do not like the look of a solid sheet, so CR Tech can convert large tiles to smaller sizes.
Temperature Controlled Cutting Facility
Flooring manufacturers and floor installers send us their roll goods to be cut to specific tile shapes and sizes. Our temperature controlled cutting facility ensures there is no material shrinkage or dimensional instability due to extreme heat or cold fluctuations. All material is acclimated to our temperature controlled cutting rooms for 24 hours before any material is cut. The roll packaging is removed and the flooring material is exposed to our controlled climate while it can breathe while still on the core. This allows the material to relax and acclimate to our precise climate-controlled facility with no temperature variations even during summer and winter months. This keeps all our cutting perfectly in dimensional tolerance and there is no worry about material shift in rooms that are too hot or too cold.
